Immediate bump in radioactivity when entering outerwphere
Hi all,

I recently got the Radiation Zone Toolbox from the Asset store, great asset Smile!
I think I might have found a bug however that is more apparent when working with lower radiation levels. to some extent I see it also occur in the video's of the asset.
When entering the outer sphere of a radioactive object the readings have a steep bump and not a gradual increase starting from 0. E.g. When entering a radiation sphere (max radiation of lets say 7) it goes like this: 0...4...5...6...7 instead of 0...1...2...3...4...5...6...7. Is there a way to have an even increase from 0 to 7?

Thanks for your help Smile.

Cheers, Maru

Hi Maru,
Thanks for picking up the asset! I'm glad that you like it.

Could you try something for me? Try very slowly moving into the sphere (I mean really creeping into it) and see what the ramp up looks like.

The math that calculates the value uses the distance from the player's position to the center of the zone/datum as part of the equation, and that can cause a steep ramp-up with small zones.

I'll also give it a look and see if maybe I can tweak the math for a better ramp-up.

Pain is indeed a flavour, so pour on that hot sauce!

Hi Maru,

I think that this got fixed with the implementation of the feature request that you put in for exponential dosage calculation. I'm testing on it right now, so I'll keep a close eye on it for this issue.

Thanks a bunch for your input, it's much appreciated!

Kind regards,
