Star RF Visualization
There's been a request for the ability to visualize RF waves both in-editor and at run time.

I'll be looking into this in the following days and will post back with more details once I've got a line on it.

Any updates on this feature? That would be nice to have indeed.

RE: RF Visualization
Unfortunately, I got swamped with my full-time job and family commitments and this fell off my radar (as did the 2.0 re-build that I was starting on).

However, I'm *finally* getting back into a place where I can start looking at this asset again; starting with ensuring that the asset will work in Unity 2017.1.

As for this feature...
I had envisioned something similar to the antenna that's on the patch that I designed for the asset: A decal (at a defined location on the object with this asset on it) with translucent lightning bolts that expands and contracts (or animates in some other way) within the broadcast limits of the transmitter. The other idea was using concentric, expanding circles that animated outwards from the transmitter.

If I work it right, I *should* be able to allow users to specify their own decal and/or animation (in addition to what I provide). Not sure how that'll work without trying it, though.

At any rate, thank you for reminding me about this! I really didn't mean to let it get away from me.

Cheers,

Shawn

Okay, I've *finally* made progress on this feature! Here's a short demo of what's to come: https://youtu.be/lp7uxmy7WZs
